This page is dedicated to the explosive or explosive-type weapons that were employed by the Wehrmacht including Grossdeutschland.  An interesting aspect of German explosives were that most of them, if not all, were created with the intent of offense.  The iconic design of the stick grenade and egg grenade made it effective for stunning enemy troops and assaulting their positions.  The same goes with Germany's rocket-launchers.  The Germans felt that individual infantrymen needed to be armed with anti-tank weapons as they would be able to ambush them in positions that artillery pieces could not enter.
